About the Company
We are a growing and reputable organization seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting business decision-making through accurate reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Conduct financial analysis to support management decisions
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years proven experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
- Good understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage
